  3. Hey everyone, I’m in the UTSA CAP program and I’m thinking of the army. I’ll be gone roughly a year maybe less, and in the meanwhile gaining college credit hours during AIT. After, I’ll be part time and only have to work 38 days a week out of the year.

UTSA should send out an email considering this happened on campus due to other students witnessing it and it won’t look so good for UTSA’s reputation. It’s horrible that people deal with suicidal thoughts because of college. College is hard yes but your life is more valuable than getting good grades.

The best one is Chap Village 100%. 2. Reply. Big_Photograph9762. • 3 yr. ago. Honestly Alvarez is the best it's more like a hotel style and u have ur room connected to a bathroom and on the other side is your roommate but the bathroom has no locks so ur roommate could come in whenever.

  6. Your honest opinion about UTSA : r/UTSA - Reddit

UTSA is a large commuter school, with most students either commuting from home or from a nearby apartment complex. This makes living on campus to be a rather horrible experience if I do say so myself. On the weekends, the campus is a ghost town (I'm not hyperbolizing) with not much to do at all.

  7. I’m considering UT Austin and UTSA, and I would like some advice.

    www.reddit.com/r/UTSA/comments/17nva21/im_considering_ut_austin_and_utsa_and_i...

UTSA is a local school (I wouldn’t even call it regional) whose reputation is of a large commuter school for average hs students. UTSA average ACT:22. UT-Austin 33. Don’t kid yourself. Austin is one of the top 20 public schools in the country. UTSA isn’t even in the top 200 using meaningful ranking criteria.

  10. What is UTSA in general like? : r/UTSA - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/UTSA/comments/jb2f0u/what_is_utsa_in_general_like

UTSA does not have a big "on campus" feel and it still is mostly commuter students that live in San Antonio. Is that better than when I was there and graduated in 1992, yes, but still the football games are downtown, only abut 200 people show up to basketball games on campus, etc, but if you're living on campus you can find pockets of campus ...

  11. Is UTSA good for CS? : r/UTSA - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/UTSA/comments/spdxmo/is_utsa_good_for_cs

So up to now if my UTSA requires 2 more classes and 8 additional hours. Finally UH requires 4 more 3 hour elective CS classes and UTSA requires 8 more 3 hour CS classes. So I think that brings the total up to 20 more hours and 6 more courses. Having said all that UTSA has a more highly ranked program than UH. For prestige UT is probably the best.
