The plug is a 3/4" hex with a 5/16' Allen in the center, either wrench will work. Put a container below the drain plug and remove the plug then get outta the way so you don't get full of the drain oil. Remove the pan dipstick and the oil will drain faster. Next remove the oil filter and allow that to drain completely into another container.

Even Dino oil would be 5000 miles between changes after the first change at 1000 miles.some people change every year or every 5000 miles whichever comes first. If you're going to change yearly I would suggest after the end of the summer ...
Oil Change Interval versus the "Calendar". I use Amsoil 20W-50 in my 2016 Ultra Limited (and use Amsoil's Primary and Amsoil's Transmission oil respectively) and SYN 3 in my wife's 2016 Forty-Eight. We don't always put 5,000 miles on our bikes in a one-year period as we live in Minnesota and sometimes only get six to eight months of riding in.

It looks to me that the oil change is recommended at 10,000 miles and 15,000 miles. The dealer says to change it every 2500. I was going to change it at 3000 but wasnt sure how I was supposed to do it.
