Agami is a US-registered non-profit charity, dedicated to promoting quality education for underprivileged children in Bangladesh. Each year Agami supports schools to ensure quality education, resources and training needs, where applicable. If you need a grant for your school, you can submit a Project Proposal. The deadline is July 31.

Becoming a member gives you some direct involvement in the activities and determining the direction of Agami. As a member you can: Join your local Agami Chapter, run for office, and become an executive committee member. Nominate and vote to elect Agami’s board of directors during election.
History of Agami. The idea of Agami started in 1989, when Dr. Babu Rahman was in graduate school and raised $1500 for those who had been devastated by a cyclone in Bangladesh. However, he had depended on another national organization to use the funds as they saw fit and Babu had no idea whether the funds had reached those who needed it most.
