    www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/replacement-for-22...

Earlier tonight, in several threads, I read something like, "If I run out of .22 LR, I'm done", or, "I'm getting out of .22 LR." Those writers were talking about the absence of .22 LR ammo. So, I thought to myself, an owner of a rifle in .22 LR (see sig line), what if ammo was no longer...

After the fun I had at the last Bay Area shoot, I'm thinking of getting a 10/22 as a first rifle. I seem to recall there is a discrepancy between the federal and CA state magazine restrictions with regards to rimfires; is it legal for me to import a pre-ban 25-rounder?

Started out as a classic carbine model, added a 20'' green mountain blue bull barrel and a Hogue Olive Drab stock. Found the scope at SWFA, its just a 3X9 BSA sweet .22 scope seems pretty good, has adjustable objective. Also threw in a Volquartzen target hammer and spring kit, a nylon bolt...

  9. Putting a little more power in a $15.00 Daisy | The High Road

    www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/putting-a-little...

But briefly, to gain power I enlarged the air tube ID and shimmed the plunger spring. Cost was $0.00, only rub is a drill bit is needed that will reach to the bottom of a 2-3/4" air tube. This is a little longer than some drill bit sets. The shim can be made from a piece of copper tubing, among other things. Lastly, a spring compressor is needed.

Howdy, folks. I have to admit, I'm a Philistene when it comes to these cartridges. The only ones I know are .22LR and .223 (5.56 NATO). Does someone have some kind of visual graphic comparing the rounds next to a .22LR? If you can't get them all, I would definately like to see sitting next...

I recently inherited an old S&W 38 Special CTG 6 shot revolver from my grandfather and was wondering how old the gun may be. The serial number stamped in the metal part of the handle is 370355. The gun is blued and has a 5" barrel. The following is stamped on the barrel: Smith & Wesson...
