RodeoWind. • 7 mo. ago. As of February 2024, the regular website only carries game information, but you can no longer download the roms. This is a big loss because they posted translations of Japanese roms that would be unplayable without knowing Japanese.
CdRomance has been around longer than most people here have been emulating, it's fine. Emulation in general pops false positives on virus scan at an absurd rate, I blanket excepted by dedicated emulation drive years ago because every third file pops a false positive otherwise, including programs I know for a fact are safe and have been using for years.

Find a game you want to download on cdromance.com and when you scroll lower (under the game's cover) you will se CDR_TICKET. Copy this number and paste it in cdromance.org. If it won't work, refresh cdromance.com and copy the code again. Reply reply. MrGorkemms.
The megathread's never really suggested CDRomance anyway. While CDRomance can be useful for prepatched romhacks and translations, generally its better to use Archive or Myrient as linked in the megathread because those sites are safe, ad-free(?), untampered ROMsets. (Untampered as in known good dumps.)
Cdromance is still better, it has a lot of hacks, translations, undubs, re-translations etc, all being updated daily for an extensive range of retro consoles. And it has awesome download speed even though you download directly from the site, and no wait 1 hour or premium bullshit.
Definitely gotta say cdromance is one of the best i have downloaded over 1.5 TB of games for the ps2 from them and my pc is running fine highly worth using not to mention you can easily download more than one game at a time just duplicate your tab beforehand as if it denies that attempt you have to find that game again.
So the publisher spent a ton of time and money to sue them and nothing came of it. Different places have different laws and different ways of enforcement. No. But just because a site breaks the law doesn’t mean it’ll get sniped. This subreddit's megathread also offers ROMs for download, which is illegal as well.
I used to download roms from here all the time but from the last few months the download speed has been so slow (max 40kb/sec).
