Open it, and there is a file that says minecraft (should be a .jar file). Open the jar file with something like 7zip or winrar. There will be 2 files called terrain in there.
download the 1.7.10/1.8.9 resource pack. also the reason the download links are .rar is because they contain 2 resource packs, 1 is normal clear glass and 1 is connected clear glass. i'm still working on a solution maybe make an installer later this week.
this is my clear glass texture pack ive made for myself and id thought others might enjoy. So below is a picture of it.
Take the file and extract it in resource-packs folder in .minecraft. Open up the game and enjoy! If you want to combine it with other texture packs than just go to the last folder in downloaded file (blocks) copy and past all the glass files into your texture pack's blocks' folder.
If you have ever wondered why most users don't have connected textures with their pack (meaning the entire 4x6 glass pane window will be one texture). It's because it's very time consuming to create.
