Miss Rio Grande do Norte is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Rio Grande do Norte at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1955 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1990–1991, 1993, and 2020.
Among the personalities portrayed by Gioconda were the first Miss Brazil, Zezé Leone (1922), and the Miss Universe, Yolanda Pereira (1931) [7] She is the author of the photograph of writer Zélia Gattai 's family that illustrates the 1979 edition of her work Anarquistas, Graças a Deus, by Círculo do Livro.
