Shouldn't the "rumour" that new Japanese PS3s have a 100V power supply be removed unless it can be sourced in some way? I have a Japanese PS3 that I bought just a couple of months ago and it's still got the universal power supply (even opened it up to check). Having unsourced hearsay like that on the page just causes needless paranoia.
