It lies south of the cities of Holladay and Murray, east of Midvale, and north of Sandy within the Salt Lake City, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. [2] The station was opened on December 4, 1999, as part of the original TRAX line [4] and is operated by the Utah Transit Authority.
