Velma Marie (Madore) St. Peter, 83, passed away on October 4, 2024, at the Maine Veterans Home in Caribou. She was born on September 19, 1941, in Fort Kent, to Michael and Lucy (Michaud) Madore. Velma attended Fort Kent High School, graduating in 1959.
She was born in Caribou, Maine, the daughter of Patrick and Alvine (Marquis) Bourgoin. She married the love of her life, Norman J. Chasse, on November 4, 1947. They celebrated fifty-four loving years and together raised six children.
