The University of Sri Lanka was a public university in Sri Lanka. Established in 1972 by amalgamating the four existing universities, it was the only university in Sri Lanka from 1972 until 1978. The university was based at six campuses in Colombo, Peradeniya, Sri Jayewardenepura, Kelaniya, Moratuwa and Jaffna.
The main campus is housed in two units known as Sea Side Campus and Land Side Campus facing each other on the Colombo – Galle main road. Incorporated in June 2010, CIRP was granted registration as an awarding body by Tertiary & Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka in December 2010.

Horizon Campus is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities. It is also an institutional member of the Asia Pacific Quality Network [ 2 ] [ 3 ] It is a recognised teaching centre of the University of London .

SLTC Research University is a private university in Sri Lanka. [1] It conducts Engineering programs in Electronics, Telecommunications, Power Systems, Civil and Computing. Its degree programs are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Highways and recognized by the university grants commission (UGC). [2]
The main campus of LCBT is situated at No. 342 Kotte Road, Pitakotte, Sri Lanka with another branch at No. 320 Aguruwatota Road, Horana, Sri Lanka. The campus initially planned to start with courses for engineering and sports, but it would soon move into other business subjects like Management, HR, Accounting, IT, etc.
