U.S. Route 377 (US 377) is a 478-mile-long (769 km) north–south United States highway. Originally formed as a short spur to connect Denton, Texas with Fort Worth, Texas , it has since been extended to Oklahoma and Mexico .
The original Spur 471 was designated on October 1, 1968, from I-20 north of Colorado City south to Loop 377 (now Business I-20) in Colorado City along an old routing of SH 208. The route was signed as SH 208 Business rather than Spur 471. On June 21, 1990, Spur 471 was cancelled and transferred to Bus. SH 208.
The SH 167 designation was assigned on December 13, 2012, as a temporary state highway from SH 267, to US 67/US 377. At 230 feet, it was the shortest main state highway in Texas. The route was eliminated in 2013, when the US 67 relief route was completed. [95] [96] [97]
Loop 448 was designated on June 1, 1967, from US 77 north of Harlingen southeast to US 77/US 83 southeast of San Benito. The route was signed as US 77 Business rather than Loop 448. On July 31, 1969, a section of old US 77 from US 77 north of Raymondville to Spur 56 south of Raymondville was added, creating a gap.

Loop 345 was designated on January 26, 1962, as a loop off I-10 in San Antonio as a replacement of US 87 when it was rerouted. The route was signed as US 87 Business until 1992. On December 18, 2014, the section from Balcones Heights south to I-10 was removed and returned to the city of San Antonio and the remainder was redesignated as Spur 345.
