"Windows" is a song by the English pop group Take That. It was released by EMI Records on 22 September 2023 as the first single from their ninth studio album, This Life (2023). It was written by Take That, and produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb with Gary Barlow on lead vocals.
The track was recorded in a 13 April 1967 session produced by Bacharach and David with Bacharach as conductor and arranger. Bacharach and David had scored a number 7 hit in 1965 with Jackie DeShannon's message song hit "What the World Needs Now is Love" but "The Windows of the World" was unique in the composers' canon in being a protest song.
"Windows Down" is a song by American boy band Big Time Rush from the re-release of their second studio album Elevate. The song was released on June 25, 2012, and was released to US radio on July 24, 2012. [ 2 ]
("Windows" also appears on the Getz album Live At Montreux 1972, again with Corea on piano.) A year later, in 1968 Corea recorded "Windows" under his own name, accompanied by bassist Miroslav Vitouš and drummer Roy Haynes; this version would appear on the 1975 album Circling In as well as the 1988 CD release of Now He Sings, Now He Sobs.

Power Windows is the eleventh studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on October 11, 1985 in Canada by Anthem Records [3] and on October 21, 1985 in the United States. [4] After touring in support of their previous album, Grace Under Pressure (1984), the band took a break and reconvened in early 1985 to begin work on a follow-up.
