The Vietnam national football team (Vietnamese: Đội tuyển bóng đá quốc gia Việt Nam) represents Vietnam in men's senior international association football and is controlled by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the governing body of football in Vietnam.

The Vietnam women's national football team (Vietnamese: Đội tuyển bóng đá nữ quốc gia Việt Nam) is a women's senior football team representing Vietnam and controlled by Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). The team's nickname is the Golden Star Women Warriors (Vietnamese: Những Nữ Chiến Binh Sao Vàng).
On 7 September 2021, Thanh Bình made his debut for the national team, against Australia in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, in a match that ended 1–0 loss. [18] He was heavily criticized by fans after making the mistake of letting China score a goal in injury time, making Vietnam lose 2–3 on 7 October 2021.
He made his debut against Palestine on 11 September 2023 at the Thiên Trường Stadium, Nam Định. He kept a clean sheet in the match, which ended 2–0 to Vietnam. [9] In January 2024, he was included in Vietnam's 26-men squad for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. [10]
Tiến Anh began his career at Viettel FC, making his professional debut in 2019 and was part of the 2020 V.League 1 winning team. He is a versatile player, being able to operate as a winger and a wing back.
