LA4820. Feb 6, 2019 at 9:05 AM. I started leaking water at 30 weeks with my son. I felt kind of a gush and it didn't feel like pee. I went to labor and delivery the next day and they use a test strip to see if its amniotic fluid.
If it’s leaking out, it’s dangerous for baby to run out of fluid. 1. Like. 2019momma2023momma. Aug 14, 2023 at 8:46 PM. Put a pad on, if it’s full in an hour rush to labor and delivery. If not, you are probably just peeing a tiny bit. I know sometimes my son kicks me hard enough just right in the bladder I pee a bit. 2.
pinkbooboo. Jan 27, 2019 at 8:28 AM. Well, leaking amniotic fluid at this time is not a good thing and I am so sorry but what I've heard is that it can replenish itself sometimes and the pregnancy can progress to a safe and viable birth period. I pray that that your outcome is a good story. Like.
With my first child I leaked amniotic fluid around this time and was put on bed rest. That was 7 years ago though. Last night I woke up from dead sleep with intense pain like cramping. This morning I woke up drenched. I’m leaking clear and odorless fluid. I soaked through 3 pairs of underwear just this morning alone!
As others have mentioned, if it was amniotic fluid it would be constant and you’d need to change your underwear constantly. Chances are it’s probably a little bit of pee. I wear panty liners which help manage all that. But if you’re concerned your doc and do a test to be sure. Like.
Leaking amniotic fluid.. September 22, 2024 | by HaleyGMomma2Be. I've been very lightly leaking for the last 2 days... very minimal, not enough to even use a pad. Called the Doc who said it's prob just end of pregnancy leaking & keep an eye on it to see if the amount increases.
I would definitely get it checked out - it could be normal discharge, it could be thrush (which sometimes presents as wet discharge in pregnancy) or it could be amniotic fluid and only a doctor will be able to say for sure. I heard and felt a pop, so I waddled towards the bathroom. I snagged a pad nearby and threw it on and after a gush of fluid, immediately noticed some small “floaters” in it. The floaters were lanugo, or baby hair. From there my contractions started within the hour so it was obvious what it was, and they didn’t stop.
Amniotic fluid is odorless I’ve read, so if it smelled like pee it was likely pee. Definitely should still tell your doctor. I had this happen to me after a shower too, when baby gets really low on my bladder the pee can come out by itself and you don’t even feel it. Like.
