Yering is a closed railway station, located up from Macintyre Lane, Yering, Victoria, Australia, on the now-closed Healesville line. The station was opened on 15 May 1888, when the partly-completed line was opened as far as Yarra Glen. The station was closed on 9 December 1980, when passenger train services ceased on the Healesville line.

The township developed around the railway station after the railway arrived in 1888, the Post Office opening on 7 February 1889. [3] Prior to that the locality was known as "The Lodge". In 1909, Dame Nellie Melba bought Coombe Cottage at Coldstream. The house is located at the junction of Maroondah Highway and Melba Highway (named in her honour).
