The system opened June 14, 1996 and serves 65 stations and four lines, covering 93 miles (149.7 km): the Blue Line , the Red Line , the Green Line , and the Orange Line .

It opened on June 14, 1996 and is the southwest terminus of the Red Line, serving the nearby residential and commercial areas and featuring bus service to Southwest Center Mall.
