Calsurance offers discounted E & O for any agent who are associated with Smart Choice. I don't think its a reason to hook up with SC but if you are already writing business through them - its good to know.

I went looking for E&O insurance and I checked out several sites, including NAPA. I was foolish enough to put in information that included a credit card with NAPA. I did this online when they were closed because they were the least expensive so I was sure I would end up with them. I chose another company I liked better.

What they are looking for is agents in the Insurance business that has a felony related to Insurance. I think that extra sheet of paper I attach does the trick because it tells them that it was some other kind of felony and also it is written on the papers I received at the end of the trial from the secretary with their Letterhead on it.
NAPA E& O coverage not good. I've had E&0 coverage for years thru Mercer, Calsurance and others. last two years used NAPA. Well, I had a frivolous claim against our company because John Hancock tried to weasel out of paying a widow 250K death benefit. National Casualty used by Napa refused to defend me.
