To stop this. Go to your voice remote. Hit the Xfinity button. Go to the gear on the right side of the menu bar. Open settings. Under settings go to Device Settings, then go to Screen Saver. Here you can adjust or turn off the screen saver settings. It does it to prevent screen burn in on Plasma and OLED Tv's.
go to the Google Play Store on the Shield, search Downloader and install the app. go to the Shield’s settings menu, go to Apps, then Security & Restrictions, then Unknown Sources, find Downloader and set the toggle to on. open Downloader there are a couple ways you could do this.

I have to LG TVs. one was running software version 4.35.10 and the Xfinity app worked fine. As soon as I upgraded to the latest software version 4.35.25 the software stopped working, it freezes. Going through some backdoors I was able to reach some senior level people who were able to "solve" this problem for me.

I am currently not at home and I was going to watch some tv through the Xfinity Stream app on my phone. When I click on a channel, it says please connect to your home WiFi or record the show. I’ll admit the last time I used the app was about a year ago, but I was able to watch shows anywhere from my phone through the App.
I have an Apple TV 4 (will probably sell it) but cannot access Xfinity TV GO on it unfortunately. I can access all other providers including my PLEX server via the PLEX app. Just looking to get Live TV via their site at this point by a cheap method.
