In my mind there's no excuse for the gulf between the official app and PS Play. Every single aspect of the experience is better via PS Play. Sony's own Remote Play client is straight up not good in comparison. I'm actually astounded that Sony sells a $200 device that's all but guaranteed to perform worse than a half-decent phone running PS Play.
A: Remote play is a feature that Sony has been using since 2006 to allow a user to remotely connect to their PlayStation console from a different location to play games on a separate device. Please see the PlayStation remote play page for more info, located here
Just over a year ago, we launched our first dedicated remote play device, PlayStation Portal remote player, with an aspiration to deliver a console-quality gaming experience on a handheld device. IPad Pro 11 with Magic Keyboard and controller has not only been great for PS remote play, but also PC streaming and Xbox Cloud gaming. I get more screen real estate than a standard handheld would allow, and it's light enough that I can comfortably prop it up on my chest while I'm in bed and have the comfort of a full controller instead of ...
CoD I have no idea because that game is pointless to play. However the main workaround is remote play. Remote play allows you to use PS4 or PS5 controller on any game. Seems certain it uses the same protocols as any remote play client. - Poor manual and instructions in the box to set up the portal most effectively. - Nice piece of hardware, get the full dual sense experience. Larger screen than most remote play experiences, with a bright vibrant screen, weak blacks aside. - USB C socket for charging only.
If I restart the system I can load one game, but when I try to switch games I run into the issue. Also, taking out the disc fixes things as well but then I can't play Metaphor obviously. As I'm going away this weekend and wanted to remote play in I won't be easily able to trouble shoot this stuff remotely. Initial convo with support wasn't helpful.
Backbone One is the gaming essential for PlayStation on iPhone. If you have access to broadband internet and a PS5 or PS4 console, plug an iPhone into the Backbone One and instantly start playing your PS5 and PS4 games with the power of the PS Remote Play app—whether that's out and about or even elsewhere in the home*.

Remote Play. A feature that's built in with the PS4 since launch and an added feature to the PS3 after certain firmware versions. It's definitely the one feature that I used the most (specifically on PS4) since launch as I specifically bought a Vita before the launch of the PS4 just for it. As...
