    ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?215638-albino...

Hey all, Here is an albino southern ringneck snake, found in Sarasota FL at the beginning of June and I've had it ever since. It's probably 2 years old, very small still. This is the only known albino ringneck in captivity.

  3. Setting up a northern ringneck/brownsnake habitat?

    ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?238673-Setting-up-a...

Right now my two prime picks are either the northern subspecies of ringneck snake or brownsnake. Actually I'd really prefer a foxsnake, but damned if I can find those anywhere. This is for a classroom setup; I was also considering northern varieties of ratsnake or racer; but I feel like the racer would be too stressed out for that environment ...

a notoriously docile snake- may I once again heartily recommend both Baird's & Trans Pecos rat snakes for those wanting a mid-side and docile pet, other than a ball python. Australian spotted pythons are in this category too, though some have said theirs are nippy, I haven't found that at all with the one I've kept for 10+ years so far.

Technically widely separate species (especially when separated not by species but by the higher taxonomic level of family) cannot successfully reproduce with each other...corn snakes are colubrids which is a whole family level difference from boidae and pythonidae (pythons and boas) and...hence the distinction of separate species, however this has been shown to not always be the case as in the ...

Wafer is my calmest and seemingly "smartest" snake. Has never bit anyone and has similar personality trait to a boa in that he doesn't like going back in his enclosure. Him and my BP are my snake embassadors when I want to pull out a snake and show someone how awesome snakes really are. He also gives good neck massages.
