Pike Road is located in east-central Montgomery County at (32.2843084, -86.1030169 It is bordered to the north by the city of Montgomery, the state capital.U.S. Routes 82 and 231 pass through the town together as Troy Highway, which leads northwest 12 miles (19 km) to the center of Montgomery.
One of the fair’s biggest draws is the Demolition Derby, renowned as the "hardest-hitting demolition derby in the Midwest." [2] The event consistently draws around 100 participants and sells thousands of tickets, generating a significant portion of the fair’s revenue—approximately one-third of the total spending each year.
Pike County is a county located in the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census the population was 33,009. [1] Its county seat is Troy. [2] Its name is in honor of General Zebulon Pike, of New Jersey, who led an expedition to southern Colorado and encountered Pikes Peak in 1806.
