Here, the roadway continues to the south-southwest as Nebraska Highway 15 (N-15) over the Missouri River. This crossing is part of the Missouri National Recreational River. It winds its way through rural areas of the county to the north-northwest. It passes just west of Harold Davidson Field, the airport for Vermillion.
