Tyne and Wear (/ ˌ t aɪ n ... ˈ w ɪər / ) is a ceremonial county in North East England . It borders Northumberland to the north and County Durham to the south, and the largest settlement is the city of Newcastle upon Tyne .
Sunniside is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead, which is located around 5.5 miles (9 km) from Newcastle upon Tyne. Prior to the creation of the county of Tyne and Wear in 1974, it was part of Whickham Urban District, which in turn formed a part of County Durham .

Chapel House is a suburban housing estate in the outer west of Newcastle upon Tyne, England that was built by John. T. Bell in 1964. [citation needed] Made up of private properties, it is approximately 5 miles (8 km) directly from the city centre.
Tyneside flats are a form of UK domestic housing found primarily on Tyneside, including in Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, South Tyneside and North Tyneside.
