Edward Sharp (1865–1954) was the county surveyor and roadmaster whose work underlies much of the development in Wasco County. He built this trio of houses (1895–1905) for himself, his family, and their employees in the Queen Anne and Craftsman styles.
In 2001, voters in Wasco County and Hood River County approved the annexation of Hood River County to the college's service district.
