Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (Bhīmrāo Rāmjī Āmbēḍkar; 14 April 1891 – 6 December 1956) was an Indian jurist, economist, social reformer and political leader who chaired the committee that drafted the Constitution of India based on the debates of the Constituent Assembly of India and the first draft of Sir Benegal Narsing Rau.
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (informally known as BBAU) is a Central University situated in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. [3] [4] [5] The university is named after B. R. The foundation stone (replica of Parliament House) on which the statue is installed is three storeyed and has a total built up area of 26,258 square feet. This memorial has a museum which has many articles and pictures depicting the life history of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. There is also a library related to audio-visuals of Ambedkar's life.
