George H. Baldwin (January 13, 1923 – July 4, 2013) [1] was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from 1973 to 1983 and again from 1985 to 1987, compiling a record of 61–71–3. [2]

Old Main. On September 15, 1866, the Keystone State Normal School was established on what is now the site of Old Main. The needs of a burgeoning industrialization in the region placed more and more demands on teacher preparation, and in 1928, the institution was designated Kutztown State Teacher's College and authorized to confer the bachelor's degree.
He attended Kutztown State Normal School (now Kutztown University of Pennsylvania), where he played baseball in 1905 and 1906, and is a member of that school's Athletics Hall of Fame. He started his professional baseball career in 1907 with the Tri-State League 's Wilmington Peaches.
