The Washington Times Herald is a daily newspaper serving Washington, Indiana, and adjacent portions of Daviess County, Indiana. It is owned by Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. and presently the only daily newspaper in Washington, Indiana.

Alcona County Herald: On March 10, 1910, the newspaper changed its name to the Alcona County Herald, with Rola E. Prescott as the publisher. In 1954, the Times-Herald was purchased by Phillip L. Graham, owner of The Washington Post. For a time, the combined paper was officially known as The Washington Post and Times-Herald. The Times-Herald portion of the nameplate became less and less prominent on a second line in ensuing years, however, and was dropped entirely in 1973.
