"Time Won't Let Me" is a garage rock song that was recorded by the Outsiders in September 1965. The song became a major hit in the United States in 1966, reaching No.5 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the week of April 16 of that year. [ 2 ]
This album includes all four sides of the band's first two singles, all of which were written by Tom King and Chet Kelley. Their best-known song, "Time Won't Let Me" was a Top 5 single in early 1966, and used elements of both Merseybeat and Motown that were dominating the charts in that time period: a brass section, a la the Motown sound, with the big beat formula of the Beatles.

Ronald Harkai (May 26, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio – December 6, 2022, in Grand Rapids, Michigan), [1] often known by the nickname Ronnie, was a musician best known as the drummer on the top-five single [2] "Time Won't Let Me", by Cleveland-based rock band The Outsiders. [2] "Time Won't Let Me" was released early 1966 and peaked at #5 in the US.
