It rests on a granite base measuring approximately 8 x 5 x 5 ft and weighing 14 tons. His full-size figure is shown wearing a Prince Albert coat and with his hands folded behind his back. Two sides of the base display bronze oval cameos with profiles of the doctor's two deceased sons, Charles and Samuel.
In Saint-Brieuc's Parc des Promenades is a monument honouring the sculptor Paul Le Goff. It comprises a granite pedestal with Le Bozec's portrait medallion of Le Goff, and in front of the pedestal stands the sculpture of a Breton woman wearing a large Plérin cap. The monument was unveiled on 29 May 1938 by the French president Albert Lebrun.
It is mounted on a 15-foot-high (4.6 m) granite pedestal, the front of which bears the inscription: "William / M c Kinley / Twenty-fifth / President of / the United States". The rear of the pedestal has a relief carving of an eagle, above a further inscription: "Born at Niles, Ohio / January 29, 1843. / Died at Buffalo, N.Y. / September 14, 1901.
