Robert Edison Fulton Jr. (April 15, 1909 – May 7, 2004) was an American inventor and adventurer.He is known for having traveled around the world on a motorcycle in 1932–33, authored a book [1] and made a film [2] about his journey, and for several aviation-related inventions, among his 70 patents.

Despite rarely travelling faster than human walking speed, for centuries camels' ability to withstand harsh conditions made them ideal for communication and trade in the desert areas of North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
