The noodles by themselves are 250mg/serving. The noodles with the packet are 780mg/serving. Ramen noodles alone are high sodium. This is definitely not considered low sodium…you are easily getting 1000mg of sodium and way more unless you honestly eat half the bag of noodles since 1 bag is 2 servings.

It depends you are soaking or cooking the noodles. Never cook the ramen and put the packet in because never use the water that cooks the ramen. I always strain it out. I have a separate bowl with clean hot water. Add the packet and stir then once the noodles are cooked you mixed the noodles together for a clean flavored taste.

If you are trying to eat less fat or less carbs, then you shouldn't eat ramen noodles. The sodium is in the packet, but the noodles are mostly carbs and fat. You can buy non-fried ramen noodles, you just have to cook them for a couple minutes like pasta. Then they have little fat but still are mostly carbs, so again, depends what you need.
