Whitestone is a residential neighborhood in the northernmost part of the New York City borough of Queens.The neighborhood proper is located between the East River to the north; College Point and Whitestone Expressway to the west; Flushing and 25th Avenue to the south; and Bayside and Francis Lewis Boulevard to the east.

The Q25 terminates in College Point, and the Q34 in Whitestone, both in northern Queens. The Q25 and Q34 were originally operated by Queens-Nassau Transit Lines, Queens Transit Corporation, and Queens Surface Corporation from the 1930s to 2005; they are now operated by MTA Regional Bus Operations under the MTA Bus Company brand.
