An 8-foot (2.4 m) bronze statue of Dibnah was unveiled by the Mayor of Bolton, in Bolton town centre, on 29 April 2008. The sculpture was created by Jane Robbins . [ 106 ] His home was converted into a heritage centre in 2010 [ 107 ] but its contents were sold at auction in March 2018.

Statue of Fred Dibnah, steeplejack and TV personality, in Bolton Memorial to the 344 Pretoria Pit miners in Lancashire killed 12 December 1910. She was commissioned by the Monumental Welsh Women project to make a statue of Margaret Haig Thomas, 2nd Viscountess Rhondda, businesswoman and suffragette, which was installed in Newport in 2024. In 1983, Swan Lane Mills was featured in an episode of the documentary Fred, in which Fred Dibnah is hired to remove the decorative ornamental on top of the chimney [12] by then the last decorative topped chimney in Bolton. [13] He was paid £4,000 (1982) for the work.
