The formal registration of the family welfare organization of ITBP named "Himveer Wives' Welfare Association" was done on 19 May 1998 in New Delhi. Its motto is ‘Development through active involvement’. It organises annual exhibitions to showcase rare products of Himalayan region, the profit of which is used for welfare of the families of ITBP.
