Bicycle law in the United States is the law of the United States that regulates the use of bicycles.Although bicycle law is a relatively new specialty within the law, first appearing in the late 1980s, its roots date back to the 1880s and 1890s, when cyclists were using the courts to assert a legal right to use the roads.
Swatara State Park is a 3,515-acre (1,422 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Bethel, Swatara and Union Townships, Lebanon County and Pine Grove Township, Schuylkill County in Pennsylvania in the United States. 8 miles (13 km) of Swatara Creek lie within the park's boundaries, which are roughly formed by Pennsylvania Route 443 to the north and Interstate 81 to the south.
The trail ranges from 8-12 feet wide and is relatively level. There are two steep grades, however, at both ends of Chain Dam Road. Near the southern terminus, the trail runs along the Lehigh River for several miles. As the bike path loops north around PA Rt 33 it runs through several residential neighborhoods and crosses five public roads at grade.
