Helvetestinden (lit. ' Hell Peak ') is a granite mountain peak located near Bunes beach in Moskenes Municipality in Lofoten, Norway.It is located within the Lofotodden National Park.
It is located not far from the Arctic Circle on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten archipelago. Lofotodden National Park was established on 22 June 2018. The harder Angelwings (grad 6+) was first aid climbed by Arild Meyer and Hugo Bjørnstad in 1974, and first free-climbed in 1993 by Ed Webster, Arild Meyer, and Odd-Roar Wik. [3] Local-born mountain climber Geir Rune Holm is the first to have reached 1000 trips to the summit. This milestone was set on the 3rd of October, 2021. [7]
