Kilgore High School is a public high school located in the city of Kilgore, Gregg County, Texas, United States and classified as a 4A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). It is a part of the Kilgore Independent School District located in southwest Gregg County .

Wagstaff went to Kilgore, Texas in 1937 as coach of the junior high school. He became an assistant coach at Kilgore High School the following year. In January 1941, Wagstaff was appointed head basketball coach and athletic director at Kilgore High School. [1] He was the head football coach at Kilgore High School from 1942 to 1944.

Daniels attended Kilgore High School in Texas, where he registered 65 tackles with eight sacks, three quarterback pressures and an interception in his senior year.Regarded as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, Daniels was listed as the No. 32 strongside defensive end prospect in the class of 2006.
