Yossef H. Hatzor (Hebrew: יוסף חודרה חצור; born 1959) is an Israeli Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU). He holds the Dr. Sam and Edna Lemkin Chair in Rock mechanics , and a joint appointment with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at BGU.
In 2003, he returned to Israel and established a laboratory at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, attaining the rank of associate professor in 2010. In 2012, he joined the faculty of Ben Gurion University of the Negev and was made a full professor in 2015. [2] Zangen is married to Rachel, with whom he has six children. [4]
