Montgomery is a part of the Montgomery Independent School District. Montgomery ISD is currently changing the structure of their feeder system. Previously, students attended a K–4 elementary, a fifth grade intermediate school, a sixth grade middle school, a 7–8th grade junior high school, and a 9–12th grade high school.
