Iris in turn derives from the goddess Iris of Greek mythology, who is the personification of the rainbow and acted as a messenger of the gods. Goniochromism is derived from the Greek words gonia, meaning "angle", and chroma, meaning "colour".

Iris: The Movie (Korean: 아이리스: 더 무비; RR: Airiseu: deo mubi) is a 2010 South Korean spy action film.It is the first Korean production that shot a television drama and feature-length film simultaneously (Kim Kyu-tae was in charge of the TV segments, and Yang Yun-ho in charge of the film segments), the television series Iris was a hit when it aired on KBS2 in 2009.

[3] It was produced by Studio Gokumi and directed by Hiroshi Ikehata, with Hiroko Fukuda writing the scripts, Kazuyuki Ueta designing the characters, and Yukari Hashimoto, Ruka Kawada, Tetsuya Shitara, and Yayoi Sekimukai composing the music.
