Radha Madhav Dham, originally called Barsana Dham is the main U.S. center of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, a nonprofit organization located on more than 200 acres of land in Hays County, south of Austin, Texas. [1] [2] [3] It is a Hindu temple and ashram campus, the oldest Hindu Temple in Texas and largest in North America. [4] [5] [6]
Prakashanand Saraswati, also known as Swamiji, (born 15 January 1929) is a Hindu monk, guru and convicted child molester from Ayodhya, India. [1] [2] Previously, he founded the Hindu religious organisation the International Society of Divine Love [3] and the Radha Madhav Dham temple in the United States.
Barsana is situated in the Braj region. [2] The main attraction of the town is the historical Radha Rani Temple which attracts huge number of devotees throughout the year. [3] Barsana is an integral part of the Krishna pilgrimage circuit which also includes Mathura, Vrindavan, Govardhan, Kurukshetra and Dwarka.
The temple was made built the courtyard of his own residence. This shrine has two stories and three domes and is adorned with carvings. Swaminarayan assisted in the construction of the temple by lifting stones and mortar, and he installed the figures of Gopinath, Radhika and Harikrishna on 9 October 1828. [2] [13] [24]
He dedicated the gift of love to Shri Vrindavan Dham. Prem Mandir is constructed entirely of Italian marble. The total dimensions of the temple including its flag is 38 metres (125 ft) high, 58 metres (190 ft) long and the 39 metres (128 ft) wide raised platform serves as the seat of the two-storeyed white monument.

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj (IAST: Kṛpālu; 5 October 1922 – 15 November 2013) [4] [5] was an Indian spiritual guru and the fifth Jagadguru. [6] He was the founder of Prem Mandir in Vrindavan, one of the ten largest Hindu temples in the world.
The presiding deities of the temple are Krishna and Balarama at the central altar. On the right altar are Radha Krishna as Sri Sri Radha Shyamsundar with the gopis Lalita and Vishakha. On the left altar are Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with Nityananda , and ISKCON founder A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and his guru Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati .
