The Kauai Plantation Railway is a heritage railroad on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.Built in 2006 and opened in January 2007, the railroad operates on a 2.5-mile (4 km) long track within the Kilohana Plantation and offers passenger rides around the plantation, pulled by a 1940s diesel locomotive.

The Kauai Railway is a former narrow gauge railway company in Hawaii, United States.It was created 1906 and operated a 30-kilometre (19 mi) long railroad line with 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge track from Port Allen, to Koloa and Kalaheo on the south coast of the island of Kauai.

It operated a 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge, 19-kilometre (12 mi) long line from the port of Anahola to Lihue on the east coast of the island of Kauai. It did not connect to the other railroad on the island, the Kauai Railway, built in the same track gauge. [1] The railroad was opened 1920 and acquired in 1932 by local customers.
