David Wesley Haywood (born July 5, 1982) [1] is an American country musician and songwriter. He is one-third of the American country music band Lady A , in which he plays guitar, piano and mandolin, and sings backing vocals.
Lady A was formed in 2006 [5] by Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood, and Hillary Scott in Nashville, Tennessee.Scott, a Nashville native, is the daughter of country music singer Linda Davis, best known for collaborating with Reba McEntire on her 1993 single "Does He Love You", [6] and Charles Kelley is the brother of pop and country artist Josh Kelley.
