Eric Robert Greitens (/ ˈ ɡ r aɪ t ə n z / GRY-tənz; [2] born April 10, 1974) is an American businessman, author, former politician and former Navy SEAL, who served as the 56th governor of Missouri from January 2017 until June 2018, when he resigned that month amid allegations of sexual assault and campaign finance impropriety.
