Tarahara (तरहरा) is a town in Sunsari District of Nepal. It is located on Koshi Highway between Itahari and Dharan. Tarahara has two Municipality itahari-19 and Itahari-20 which comes under Itahari sub- metropolitan.
Jhumka is a town in the Sunsari District between Inaruwa and Itahari. [1] It is about 7 kilometeres from the main city of Itahari. Some of the famous landmarks of Jhumka are Jhumka Nahar, Jhumka Park, Pipraha Playground,Miteri Pool,selfi pool,Bamari chowck etc. It is also the gateway to Ramdhuni Mandir, Auliya dham, Chatara and Barahkshetra Mandir.
Pakali is part of Sub-metropolitan city Itahari. It has a famous temple of Goddess Bhawani called as (Jabdi). At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 9500. [1] Now, Itahari is a sub-metropolitan city.
According to the 2011 Nepal census, the population was 753,328. [1] The district headquarters is located in Inaruwa. The area was originally part of Morang District but became its own district in 1962 when Nepal was divided into 14 zones and 75 districts. Major cities in Sunsari district are Inaruwa, Itahari, Jhumka, Dharan, and Duhabi.

Khanar is a town in Itahari in Sunsari District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. The VDC village development committee was merged to form the submetropolis in June 2014. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 20,323 people living in 5,130 individual households.
Ramdhuni is a municipality located in the Sunsari district, Koshi Province of Eastern Nepal. It was established in 2014. Ramdhuni previously known as Jhumka Bazar. It is approximately 356km far from Kathmandu. This town lies in the middle of two famous cities Itahari and Inaruwa. Mahendra highway passes right through the heart of the town.
