For the 2010 census, Buras-Triumph was split into the CDPs of Buras and Triumph. [1] On the peninsula, Buras has been located higher, with Triumph located southeast of Buras. [citation needed]

[ 11 ] Prior to 2005 Boothville-Venice High School (PreK-12) served the community, [ 12 ] but Hurricane Katrina damaged the original building.
