The Ren & Stimpy Show: Veediots! was developed by Gray Matter, published by THQ and released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy in October 1993. The game is composed of four stages based on episodes from the television series. Both versions of the game received middling reviews.
Ren Höek is a scrawny anthropomorphic "asthma-hound" chihuahua.Martin "Dr. Toon" Goodman of Animation World Magazine described Ren as scrawny, dyspeptic, and violently psychotic, who loses his mind occasionally in a cumulative process resulting in his becoming, in Goodman's words, a "screaming klaxon, neon-pink eyes dilating into twin novae inches above his jagged, monolithic teeth."
Stimpson J. "Stimpy" Cat (voiced by Billy West in the series, Eric Bauza in Adult Party Cartoon) is a 3-year-old fat, red and white Manx cat.His significant physical features a large blue nose, purple eyelids, no tail, white gloves with fingernails on them, human-style buttocks, flat feet and a brain the size of a peanut (despite some intelligence, such as when cooking and inventing).
Stimpy swims in the litter for leisure. A stressed Ren attempts to calm down by watching television, only for every channel to air shows of different genres starring Stimpy. He ends up on an episode of The Stimpy & Muddy Show, depicted as a badly animated chase sequence with both characters hurling non sequiturs at each other.
Meanwhile, Wilbur and Stimpy relax in the sidelines. Wilbur massages Stimpy while Stimpy eats Kracky-Jacks; he finds a fish whistle prize, which he likes and uses it to summon a fish. The fish is pummeled by Wilbur, accidentally making him regaining sentience. The fish join the trio in eating Kracky-Jacks and relaxing, much to Ren's annoyance.
"Circus Midgets" is the third episode of the third season of The Ren & Stimpy Show. It originally aired on Nickelodeon in the United States on November 26, 1993. It is the first episode in the series with no involvement from Spümcø, being pitched and produced at Games Animation after the studio's firing.
