The opposing National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the federal ruling party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), lost all the seats again. Whereas the Main opposition party in the state All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), lost the one seat they had won when they were part of the NDA in the 2019.
