The first "duck tour" company was started in 1946 by Mel Flath and Bob Unger in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Flath's company has changed ownership since, but it is still in operation under the name Original Wisconsin Ducks. U.S. Highway 12 (US 12 or Highway 12) in the U.S. state of Wisconsin runs east–west across the western to southeast portions of the state. It enters from Minnesota running concurrently with Interstate 94 (I-94) at Hudson, parallels the Interstate to Wisconsin Dells, and provides local access to cities such as Menomonie, Eau Claire, Black River Falls, Tomah, and Mauston.
The Town of Rome is located in Adams County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 3,025 at the 2020 census, up from 2,720 at the 2010 census. [2] The census-designated places of Lake Arrowhead, Lake Camelot, and Lake Sherwood are located in the town. The unincorporated communities of New Rome and Rome are also located in the town.
As of the census [4] of 2010, there were 25,260 people, 9,955 households, and 6,238 families living in the city. The population density was 722.3 inhabitants per square mile (278.9/km 2 ). There were 10,668 housing units at an average density of 305.1 per square mile (117.8/km 2 ).
